It’s not enough, however, to wear the product with the vibration turned on for a longer evening, and it’s worth knowing before buying whether that’s the type of use you have in mind. Mot Satisfyer Intensity Plug — what you get when you pay for documentation

Satisfyer Intensity Plug Connect App is a completely different product in a completely different price range, and that’s exactly why the comparison is informative. Satisfyer states a length of 113 millimeters, a width of 50 millimeters, a height of 37 millimeters, and a weight of 94 grams. The material is listed as ABS plastic and silicone—so the same basic breakdown as with Cuties. The product is rated waterproof according to IPX7, powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, charged via the included USB cable, and also controlled via an app. Satisfyer offers a 15-year voluntary manufacturer warranty that, according to the terms, also applies to products purchased in third-party retail.

The size difference is the first thing you see: 113 millimeters versus 83, and 50 millimeters in width versus 31 in diameter. This is not the same kind of product, and the person looking for a small beginner plug should not buy Intensity Plug.

But the second thing you see is more important for this review. Satisfyer publishes the enclosure rating, battery type, weight, all three measurements, and a warranty period of 15 years. Orion publishes measurements, weight (in two contradictory versions), material, and color—and leaves the enclosure rating, battery data, sound level, and warranty unanswered, while charging time and operating time can only be read from the packaging. That’s essentially what you pay for when you go up in price in this category: not just better components, but a spec sheet you can verify. Whether that difference is worth the money depends on how much you need to know before you buy.

Price range: 188 to 279 SEK at seven stores

Seven Swedish stores sell the item with EAN 4024144672431. The cheapest is Vuxenkul at 188 SEK, and the most expensive is Mshop and Vuxen at 279 SEK each. That’s a difference of 91 SEK, corresponding to 48 percent, for the exact same barcode and the same item number from the manufacturer.

The stock situation is unusually good for this type of item. Five of the seven stores had the product in stock at the price check: Vuxenkul at 188 SEK, Joyland at 212 SEK, Lekosmek and Taboo at 249 SEK each, and Mshop at 279 SEK. Lustly at 259 SEK and Vuxen at 279 SEK were sold out. The difference between the cheapest available and the second-cheapest available is therefore 24 SEK, which is unusually small in this category.

• Phthalates, BPA, and latex. Joyland and Mshop state that the product is free from these. The manufacturer makes no such claim about the item.

Four of the seven stores—Joyland, Lekosmek, Lustly, and Vuxen—however reproduce the manufacturer’s dimensions and weight correctly. That in itself is useful information: it’s possible to find the right details in Swedish retail, but you can’t rely on the most expensive store having them.

What always applies are your statutory rights, and in this case they are stronger than anything the manufacturer offers. Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen), you have three years to make a complaint for defects in the item, regardless of what the manufacturer promises or does not promise. For distance purchases, you also have a right of withdrawal for fourteen days under the Act on Distance Contracts and Contracts Outside Business Premises (lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler).

Be aware that in practice the right of withdrawal is limited for hygiene products that have been removed from a sealed package—this is the usual exception in this category, and it applies to a very high degree to an anal product.
