When there is no manufacturer page, there’s nothing to cross-check the store text against, and then the discrepancy remains. We report it rather than choosing the number that sounds best. The same applies to IPX7: the information is consistent across the stores that list it, which suggests it comes from the supplier, but it is not checked against a test document and should be read accordingly.

Warranty, complaint and right of withdrawal

No manufacturer’s warranty is published for this product. There is no warranty page, no warranty terms and conditions, and no registration function with the brand, for the simple reason that the brand has no own website. What exists is the stores’ own terms, and they differ: Vuxen states on its product page “1 year warranty” and “100 days right of return”, while Joyland states 365 days of open purchase with unopened packaging. These are store terms, not manufacturer terms, and they apply only in the store where you buy.

What always applies, however, is your statutory rights, and in this case they are more important than usual precisely because the manufacturer makes no promises. According to the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen), you have three years to file a complaint for defects in the item. A defect here means that the product deviates from what you could reasonably expect—having the motor stop working after a month is a defect, changing your mind about the size is not. The right to complain is directed at the store you bought from, not at the brand, and it applies regardless of what the store writes about its own warranty period.

For purchases made at a distance, you also have a right of withdrawal for fourteen days under the Act on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises (lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). Be aware that, in practice, the right of withdrawal is greatly limited for hygiene products that have been removed from a sealed package—this is exactly the product category for which the exemption is written. Practical advice: save the order confirmation and, if possible, the packaging. When there is no manufacturer you can turn to, the receipt from the store is all your evidence, and an article without manufacturer documentation is harder to describe in a complaints case than one with it. A photo of the packaging with the product name and EAN costs nothing to take and can save you a discussion.
