There is nothing to measure and nothing to charge.

In Sweden, the item is sold by five stores at prices between 265 and 359 SEK. Four of them have it in stock, and the cheapest one that can actually deliver is 336 SEK. It’s an unusually small price spread for this category, and an explanation is probably that three of the five stores are using, word for word, the same product text from the supplier.

What a dragon dildo is, and where Frollo fits into the category

The label dragon dildo — which both Vuxen and Blush Me use for this item — is a collective name for dildos that don’t try to mimic human anatomy. Instead, they are based on fantasy shapes: dragons, tentacles, monsters, and aliens. In practical terms, that means two things that set them apart from realistic models. The shape is asymmetrical and irregular, and the surface is textured rather than smooth.

Frollo is a tentacle shape. The manufacturer’s product images show a slightly bent shaft with rows of raised, suction-cup-like bumps along one side and a strip of smaller raised bumps along the other, as well as a wide, wave-shaped base that works as a suction cup. The tip is rounded and wider than a tentacle-tip pattern usually is—the Italian product text jokes that the model’s hallmark is “a truly magnificent tip.”

What can be determined from the specifications is that Frollo is in the middle of its own lineup. With a total length of 23 centimeters, it is the longest of the five models we have manufacturer data for in the Monster Toyz series, while the diameter of 5 centimeters places it in the middle of the field—between Malefiga’s 3.8 and Mad Medusa’s 6.5 centimeters. So it is a long and relatively slim model rather than a short and thick one—a profile that means more depth and less stretching.

MonsterToyz, Toyz4Lovers, or Frollo non ti mollo—what’s it actually called?

The name question is worth a section, because it is the most common reason people think they’re comparing two products when they compare one. The manufacturer is Toyz4Lovers. The product line is Monster Toyz. The model is Frollo, and the full name Frollo non ti mollo is printed on the packaging—an Italian pun that roughly means “Frollo doesn’t let you go.”

The Swedish shops handle this differently. Blush Me, Vuxen, and SexleksakerOutlet list MonsterToyz as the brand and call the product “MonsterToyz Frollo Dildo 23 cm”. Joyland instead lists Toyz4Lovers as the brand and calls it “Toyz4Lovers: Frollo Non Ti Mollo Monster Dildo, 23 cm”. Vuxenkul calls it simply “Monster Dildo Frollo”. Practical consequence: if you search for one of the names, you’ll miss shops that use another. If you search by the EAN number instead, you’ll get the full list. That is the only search that works consistently in this category, where supplier names, line names, and model names are mixed freely in the shops’ titles.

What silicone means in practice

Silicone is a non-porous material. A non-porous surface can be cleaned, because there are no microscopic cavities where residue can get trapped. It is the single most important property of a material that is meant to lie against mucous membrane, and that is why the material declaration weighs more than almost all of the other lines in a specification.

The difference versus the alternatives is significant. TPE, jelly rubber, and soft plasticized PVC are porous to varying degrees, absorb odors, and cannot be sterilized. Silicone can be rinsed and soaped off without the surface being affected. With a product that has this kind of deep structure — rows of raised bumps with indentations in between — it is not a theoretical advantage. The more surface area and the more seams, the more hygiene depends on the material actually being able to be cleaned.

Silicone also conducts heat relatively well and quickly takes on body temperature, and it is resistant to water. So what generally applies to silicone products also applies here: the surface does well with a water-based lubricant and is damaged by a silicone-based lubricant, which we return to below.

The phthalate issue: stores say more than the manufacturer

Phthalates are a group of plasticizers used to make plastic — especially soft plasticized PVC — flexible. Kemikalieinspektionen describes them as substances that can affect the hormone system and make reproduction more difficult, and several of them are therefore restricted or banned within the EU in a large number of products. This product category is repeatedly subject to supervision.

Here there is a discrepancy worth spelling out, because it goes in the wrong direction. The manufacturer’s datasheet contains no phthalate declaration at all — just the word silicone. The stores, however, say more. The retailer Joyland lists “Phthalate-free: Yes” as its own specification field. The retailer Vuxenkul describes the material as “premium, phthalate-free and odor-neutral silicone.” The retailers Blush Me, Vuxen, and SexleksakerOutlet all write “made of medical silicone” using identical wording, and Blush Me also states the material as “high-quality silicone” in its property table.

It’s four formulations that all say more than the manufacturer itself does, and when a store’s description goes beyond the manufacturer’s own, it is the manufacturer that carries the most weight. Expressions such as “medical silicone” and “premium silicone” are also not defined terms — there is no standard that states what is required in order to use them, unlike, for example, a material statement under a chemical regulation. That the material is silicone, however, is a statement in itself: silicone does not require phthalate plasticizers to be soft, because the softness comes from the polymer’s own structure.

So the conclusion is not that the product contains phthalates. The conclusion is that nobody in the manufacturing chain has promised that it doesn’t do it, and that anyone who wants a written phthalate declaration from the manufacturer has to look at a different product family. Creature Cocks Astropus, which we compare with a bit further down, prints “phthalate-free silicone” on the manufacturer’s own product page.

Firmness and flexibility — the missing spec

On a fantasy dildo of this size, firmness matters at least as much as the diameter. A soft shaft with a 5-centimeter diameter behaves completely differently than a rigid shaft with the same measurement, because it gives way and follows the anatomy instead of forcing it.

The manufacturer publishes neither Shore hardness, core construction, nor any other measurable measure of stiffness. The closest the manufacturing chain gets is the word “flexible” in the product description. Retailer Joyland states the hardness as “Medium” in its specification table, which is a store claim and not a manufacturer claim—and a three-step scale without any definition practically only says that it’s neither jelly-soft nor stone-hard.

What can be established is that, according to the manufacturer, the product is flexible and has no stiff inner core in the specification. The combination of a flexible shaft and a wide, wave-shaped base is typical of fantasy dildos that are made from a single piece of silicone without reinforcement. These models are forgiving at the angle but provide less feedback under pressure than a model with a hard core. If you want to know exactly where Frollo lands on the scale, unfortunately there’s no published number to go by.

Dimensions: 23 centimeters long and 5 centimeters in diameter

The manufacturing chain gives two measurements and no more: length 23 centimeters and diameter 5 centimeters. All five Swedish stores reproduce both, and none of them differs. Vuxen also explicitly states that 5 centimeters is the maximum diameter, and Blush Me writes “Diameter (max) 5,00 cm”. That’s a useful clarification, because on a tentacle shape the diameter varies a lot along the shaft—the pictures show a tip that’s significantly narrower than the widest point a bit farther down.

A 5-centimeter diameter corresponds to a circumference of a little over 15.7 centimeters at the widest point. The manufacturer doesn’t publish a circumference specification, but it can be calculated from the diameter, and it’s worth keeping in mind, because circumference is the measurement that actually describes stretch. It places Frollo above average but clearly below the thickest models in the same line: Mad Medusa is given as 6.5 centimeters and Ade Gode as 6.2 centimeters.

How much of those 23 centimeters actually goes in?

This is the most important question about a dildo of this length, and at the same time the question where the manufacturer is the most silent. The manufacturer side publishes no insertable length — just the total length of 23 centimeters, which includes the suction cup base.

Of the five stores, only one fills the gap. The retailer Joyland lists “Penetrating length: 19 cm”. It’s a store claim, not a manufacturer claim, but it’s still reasonable in relation to the pictures: 4 centimeters of the total length then goes toward the wavy base and the transition above it. Treat 19 centimeters as a qualified indication rather than a manufacturer-backed measurement.

The difference between 23 and 19 centimeters isn’t academic. Someone who buys based on the total length and assumes that the entire length is usable will be disappointed — or, vice versa, relieved. Four centimeters is about one fifth, and on a product that’s already on the longer end of the category, it’s exactly that fifth that determines whether the measurement feels manageable or not. Weight of 515 grams and what it refers to

The manufacturer side’s product data states the weight as 0.515 kilos, meaning 515 grams. What those 515 grams refer to exactly — the product alone or the product in its box — isn’t stated, and none of the five Swedish stores publishes any own weight claim at all.

Two things suggest that the figure is close to the product’s own weight. The first is that the packaging is a cardboard box measuring 22 × 10 × 10 centimeters, so it’s light in itself. The second is that the corresponding details for the other models in the same line follow the volume logically: Malefiga with a 19-centimeter length and a 3.8-centimeter diameter is listed as 390 grams, Mad Medusa with 20 centimeters and 6.5 centimeters as 524 grams, Gridilda with 22 centimeters and 4.7 centimeters as 561 grams, and Ade Gode with 22 centimeters and 6.2 centimeters as 575 grams. Frollos 515 grams fits that pattern. XR Brands lists 549 grams for the Astropus, which is of comparable size.

Half a kilo of solid silicone is noticeably heavy in your hand compared with a hollow product of the same size, and that’s also the explanation for why the suction cup base needs to be as wide as it is. It’s the weight that determines whether the product stays put when it’s used hands-free.

Texture: bumps, ridges, and a wide top

The surface is what sets this product class apart from a smooth dildo. The manufacturer’s own product images show three different textures on the same shaft: round, raised suction-cup-like bumps on one side of the shaft, rows of smaller, tightly packed raised areas in bands across the front, and a continuous ridge that runs along the outer side of the shaft from top to base.

The retailer Joyland describes the surface as “Bumpy, Silky,” which captures the idea: the structure is in the pattern, not in the material’s finish. What can be established purely geometrically is that such a surface creates varying pressure when the product is rotated, because the pattern is not rotationally symmetric. If you turn it a quarter turn, you meet another structure at the same depth. That’s the whole point of the shape, and it’s also why a fantasy dildo can’t be described fairly using only length and diameter.

The tip is rounded and broad relative to the point, with a defined edge where the widest point transitions into a narrower section. The manufacturer’s description highlights the tip specifically as the model’s hallmark. The distributor also labels the item with the tag “for experts” in its own category—this is the manufacturer line’s own way of saying that this is not a beginner product.

Suction-cup base and hands-free use

The manufacturer’s description explicitly states that the product has a powerful suction cup in the base, and all five stores repeat the claim. Vuxen lists the base type as “Suction cup” in its fact table, and Vuxenkul states the control options as “Manual / Hand-operated,” which in practice means the product has no other way of maneuvering than what you do yourself.

A suction-cup base adheres by creating a vacuum and therefore requires a smooth, tight, and clean surface: tile, glass, a painted panel, bathtub rim. It doesn’t adhere to seams, textiles, wood with texture, or porous stone. What can be established is that the suction cup’s gripping power depends on both the area and the softness of the silicone, and the manufacturer publishes neither the suction cup’s diameter nor its area. That means it can only be assessed in relation to the product’s total weight, which is around half a kilo.

Can Frollo be used in a harness?

The manufacturer does not mention harness compatibility at all, and none of the five Swedish stores does either. It should be read as the information not being present, not as the answer being no.

From a construction standpoint, the prerequisite for a dildo to work in a strap-on harness is that the base is wider than the shaft and sufficiently flat to lie flush against the harness’s plate. The manufacturer’s images show a wide, wave-shaped base that protrudes clearly beyond the shaft. The comparison with Creature Cocks Astropus is illuminating: there, XR Brands explicitly states that the wide, flanged base is compatible with most harnesses. Frollo’s manufacturer does not make a corresponding commitment, so anyone who buys it specifically to use the product in a harness is buying on their own assumption.

Anal use: what the base says and what the manufacturer doesn’t say

The manufacturer’s product text talks about penetration in general terms and does not take a stance on intended use. The Swedish shop descriptions, however, do: Blush Me, Vuxen, and SexleksakerOutlet all write that the product is “designed to provide maximum stimulation for vaginal pleasure.” That’s a store wording that is not found in the manufacturer materials.

What can be established independently of marketing is that a wide, flanged base is the design feature that makes it possible to use a product anally without the risk that it will be inserted completely, and that Frollo has such a base. At the same time, 5 centimeters maximum diameter and an insertable length of an estimated 19 centimeters are large measurements in this context, and the distributor’s own label “for experts” is a reasonable benchmark. Cleaning, lubricant, and storage

The big advantage of silicone is that cleaning is easy. Rinse the product in lukewarm water after each use and use fragrance-free soap or a cleaning product intended for intimate products. On this particular model, the texture deserves extra attention: the raised bumps and the indentations between them collect more lubricant residue than a smooth surface does, and the underside of the suction cup is where water is most likely to stay. Wipe with a clean towel and let it air-dry before putting the product away.

The retailer Vuxenkul states water resistance with a straightforward “Yes” in its feature table. The manufacturer does not publish any IP rating, but the product also contains no electronic parts, which is why a rating is meaningless here. A dildo entirely made of silicone without a motor can be rinsed under running water without any reservations.

Which lubricant works with MonsterToyz Frollo?

Water-based. The retailer Joyland lists water-based lubricant as recommended in its specification table, and Vuxenkul writes in its product text that silicone-based variants can affect the surface. The same principle is stated plainly by XR Brands for the comparable Astropus, where the manufacturer itself writes that the product should be used only with water-based lubricant.

The reason is chemical, not a precautionary measure. A silicone-based lubricant contains the same type of polymers as the product is made of and therefore attacks the surface over time. An attacked silicone surface becomes porous, and a porous surface can no longer be cleaned properly—only by replacing it. Oil-based products such as coconut oil also leave a film that is difficult to remove from a structure of this kind.

Can it be boiled or put in the dishwasher?

The manufacturer does not publish either temperature tolerance or any instructions for boiling and machine washing, and none of the five Swedish stores does either. Silicone as a material class generally withstands high temperatures, but that says nothing about this particular item, which is pigmented in several colors and may contain additives that behave differently.

Without information from the manufacturer, the advice is simple: stick to lukewarm water and soap. That’s enough for a non-porous surface, and it’s the method that all available sources point to. Store the product dry, in the dark, and dust-free—silicone attracts dust and lint, so a storage pouch is therefore a meaningful investment. No such pouch is included in the delivery; according to the manufacturer’s packaging, it is a cardboard box and nothing else.

MonsterToyz Frollo compared with the alternatives

Three comparisons are relevant: against the roughest model in the same line, against the narrowest and cheapest in the same line, and against a comparable tentacle model from a manufacturer that publishes significantly more data. Against MonsterToyz Ade Gode 22 cm — 67 SEK cheaper, but coarser

MonsterToyz Ade Gode has article number 7104572 and EAN 8052675013405. The manufacturer states the length as 22 centimeters, the diameter as 6.2 centimeters, and the weight as 575 grams. It costs from 269 SEK, i.e. 67 SEK less than Frollo at the cheapest price available.

So the difference is not primarily about price, but about proportion. Ade Gode is 1 centimeter shorter and 1.2 centimeters thicker, which in circumference corresponds to a difference of just under 4 centimeters—a big difference in stretching. Frollo is the longer and narrower of the two. If you choose based on depth, Frollo is the right one; if you choose based on fullness, Ade Gode is the right one. The material specification is identical for both, and the same applies to what not is published: none of them has any phthalate declaration, any information about hardness, or an insertable length from the manufacturer.

Against MonsterToyz Gridilda 22 cm — 137 SEK cheaper

MonsterToyz Gridilda has article number 7104562 and EAN 8052675013351. The manufacturer’s details state the length as 22 centimeters, the diameter as 4.7 centimeters, and the weight as 561 grams. It is sold for 199 SEK, which makes it the cheapest entry into the lineup and 137 SEK cheaper than Frollo, the cheapest one available.

In terms of dimensions, they are close: they differ by one centimeter in length and three millimeters in diameter. If you only care about size, you get the practically same product for more than 40 percent less in price. What differs is the design language and texture, and since the whole point of a fantasy dildo lies in the shape, that’s not a minor argument — but anyone buying based on numbers rather than looks should know that Gridilda provides almost identical dimensions for significantly less money. The same lineup also includes Malefiga at 19 centimeters and 3.8 centimeters, from 251 SEK for those who want something clearly smaller.

Against Creature Cocks Astropus Tentacle — 159 SEK more expensive, but better documented

Creature Cocks Astropus Tentacle Silicone Dildo from XR Brands has article number AH419 and barcode 848518054883, and is sold in Sweden from 495 SEK. It is 159 SEK more than Frollo, the cheapest one available. Both are tentacle-shaped silicone dildos with a suction cup base in roughly the same size class.

The measurements are close to each other. XR Brands lists the total length as 8.7 inches and the insertable length as 7.6 inches, i.e. about 22.1 and 19.3 centimeters, with the narrowest insertable diameter of 1 inch (about 2.5 centimeters) and the widest of 2.35 inches (about 6.0 centimeters). So Frollo is only just under a centimeter longer, but about a centimeter narrower at its widest point.

The real difference is not in the product, but in the documentation. XR Brands publishes four separate measurements instead of two, states that the silicone is phthalate-free, explicitly indicates that the base is compatible with most harnesses, and provides clear instructions for lubricant — all on the manufacturer’s own product page. Toyz4Lovers publishes two measurements and the word silicone. If you pay an extra 159 SEK for Astropus, you’re not only getting a different shape — you’re also getting a datasheet that you can check before you order. For a product that’s going into the body, that’s a completely reasonable reason to pay more.

Price range: 265 to 359 SEK at five stores

Five Swedish stores sell the item with EAN 8052675013375. Cheapest is Vuxenkul at 265 SEK, most expensive is Vuxen, Blush Me and SexleksakerOutlet at 359 SEK each. That’s a 94 SEK or 35 percent difference for exactly the same article number, the same color, and the same packaging.

The inventory situation changes the picture. The cheapest store didn’t have the product in stock during the price check. The lowest price you can actually buy at is Joylands 336 SEK, and from there it’s only 23 SEK up to the three stores that are at 359. So the difference between the cheapest available and the most expensive is 7 percent, not 35. Stores that list a product as sold out may have an old price in the feed, and that price is rarely what you actually end up paying when the item is stocked again.

In addition, two of the stores also show a previous price in their feeds: Joyland lists 395 SEK as the regular price and Vuxenkul lists 379 SEK. That means the price level that looks like a stable market benchmark is actually a promotional level, and that 359 SEK is likely what applies when the promotions expire. The prices in the table above are updated when the stores’ product feeds are updated, but always check the final price at checkout. Shipping is worth factoring in at this price range, where a single purchase rarely reaches the threshold for free shipping: Joylands shipping is listed as 69 SEK in the feed, while Blush Me and SexleksakerOutlet list 29 SEK each. That takes a chunk out of the difference between 336 and 359 SEK.

Who is MonsterToyz Frollo for—and who isn’t it for?

It’s for you if you want a fantasy shape in silicone without paying a premium price, and if you know that a maximum diameter of 5 centimeters and an insertable length on the order of about 19 centimeters are measurements you’re comfortable with. It’s for you if you want a product without electronics—there’s no battery that can die, no charging cable to lose, and nothing that stops working after three years. It’s for you if you want to use the product hands-free against tile or the edge of a bathtub, and if you want to be able to rinse off the entire product under running water without thinking about buttons and seals.

It’s not for you if you want to see a written phthalate declaration from the manufacturer before you buy—it isn’t there, and the stores’ wording about “medical silicone” isn’t the same thing. It’s not for you if you want to know exactly how much of the product goes in, because the manufacturer doesn’t publish that figure. It’s not for you if you buy specifically for use in a harness, because there’s no commitment regarding harness compatibility. And it’s not for you if you’re new to the category: the distributor’s own label for the item says “for experts,” and that’s a message worth taking seriously when it comes from the seller side rather than from a reviewer.

One more thing belongs in the decision. Frollo is one of ten models in the same line, built from the same materials and sold for almost the same price. The differences between them are in shape, length, and diameter, and those figures are published for all of them. That means you don’t need to guess which one fits you—you can choose by measurements. Frollo is the longest of the ones we have data for, with the second-narrowest diameter. It’s exactly the profile you should choose if you prioritize depth over girth, and exactly the one you should avoid if it’s the other way around.

Warranty, complaints, and right of withdrawal

Toyz4Lovers does not publish any manufacturer warranty for this product, either on its own website or in the distributor’s product data. This isn’t unusual in this part of the market, where the items are mechanical and inexpensive, but it’s worth knowing: there is no optional warranty you can invoke if the silicone were to crack or the suction cup were to release.

What applies, on the other hand, is your statutory rights, and in practice they’re stronger than most manufacturer warranties. A material that comes loose at the joint or a base that splits is an original defect, and it’s the shop you bought it from that is responsible.

For distance purchases, there is also a right of withdrawal for fourteen days under the Act on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises (lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). Be aware that in practice the right of withdrawal is limited for hygiene items that have been taken out of a sealed package—however, the right to complain for defects always applies.
