Another World Dildo in brief — here’s what you get

Another World Dildo is a fantasy dildo in silicone from Mythical Mates, a brand owned by the Dutch manufacturer EDC. The model has the article number MYMA003 and is sold in Sweden under EAN 8719934017603. It comes in a single version: the pink and purple marbling that gave it the name Pink & Purple.

The specification that the manufacturer itself prints on the packaging is short and clear. The total length is 22.4 centimeters, the insertable length is 19.3 centimeters, and the largest diameter is 5.5 centimeters. The material is given with a single word: silicone. The product has a suction-cup base that the manufacturer describes as extra strong; it is intended for both vaginal and anal use, and according to the manufacturer’s own user manual it should be used with a water-based lubricant. It has no motor, battery, or electronics at all.

In Sweden, the item is sold by six shops at prices between 382 and 429 SEK, and all six had it in stock at the price check. This is unusually good availability in this product category, where a large portion of the range is sold out at half of the shops at any given time.

What sets this review apart from a store text is that it distinguishes between what the manufacturer has published and what the shops have added. The difference is larger than you might think — among the six shops, there are both rounded measurements, a weight value that no other one provides, and a water-resistance rating that has no equivalent with the manufacturer. All of that is listed below, showing who says what.

Measurements: 22.4 cm overall, 19.3 cm insertable, and 5.5 cm at most

Three measurements are printed on the manufacturer’s packaging, and those three are the only dimensions that Mythical Mates publishes. The total length of 22.4 centimeters corresponds to 8.8 inches. The insertable length is given as 19.3 centimeters, i.e. 7.6 inches. The maximum diameter is 5.5 centimeters, corresponding to 2.2 inches.

The difference between total length and insertable length — 3.1 centimeters — is the base with the suction cup. It is a more important figure than it looks, because it is precisely that one that determines whether two products are comparable. A dildo listed as 23 centimeters without an insertable length may very well have a shorter shaft than this one, if the base is thicker. That Mythical Mates prints both measurements on the packaging is therefore a genuine advantage for anyone comparing before purchase, and it’s not a given even in this price range.

The diameter of 5.5 centimeters is the product’s widest point. It corresponds to a circumference of just under 17.3 centimeters where the shaft is thickest. The manufacturer’s own product images show that the shaft isn’t uniformly thick: it tapers toward the tip, which is clearly marked and stepped down against a ridge, and it’s widest a bit below the base. No minimum diameter is published, and that means you can’t work out how much the circumference varies along the shaft — only that it does.

What can be established is that 19.3 centimeters insertable is in the upper part of what’s sold as a typical dildo, while 5.5 centimeters in diameter is well above average. The combination makes this a product for someone who already knows that this size works, not for a first dildo. If you want the dimensions in your head: it’s roughly as tall as an A5 sheet and as wide as a large apple at the thickest point.

Is this really a dragon dildo?

Two of the six stores categorize the article as a dragon dildo. Blush Me states the product type directly as “Dragon dildo,” and Vuxen puts it in a category with the same name. Lekosmek places it under “Monsterdildo.” The manufacturer itself doesn’t use the word dragon anywhere — neither in the product name, in the description, nor on the packaging. EDC categorizes it in its own range under Dildos with Suction Cup, meaning dildos with a suction cup, and describes it as a fantasy product with a detailed, structured shaft.

The difference isn’t semantic nitpicking. Someone looking for a dragon dildo often wants certain specific features: a tapering, pointed top, a knot at the bottom of the shaft, strong ridges or scales. The manufacturer’s product images show that Another World Dildo doesn’t have any of those things. The top is a rounded, wide glans. There’s no knot. The shaft has irregular striations and folds rather than scales. What gives it the fantasy character is the coloring — pink with specks of purple and glitter — and the base, which is shaped like a rock with small pointed protrusions around the edge.

In other words: it’s a fantasy dildo, but in terms of shape it’s closer to a strong, stylized realistic model than to a classic dragon form. It’s worth knowing this before you order based on a category label in a store instead of based on the pictures. For anyone who wants a tentacle or dragon form, the same manufacturer has other items in the same series, and they are described below.

Another World Dildo is the third item in a series of five from the manufacturer, and they’re easily mixed up in retailers’ assortments because several are sold under their own store names. The manufacturer’s brand page lists them with item numbers and EAN:

Note that Sea Serpent is the only one of the five with electronics. The other four, including Another World, are solid silicone castings without moving parts. This matters for both cleaning and longevity, and that’s why the specification for this model doesn’t include any lines about battery, charging time, or power modes—there’s nothing like that to list.

Material: silicone, and what the manufacturer actually writes

The material question is the only feature of an intimate product that can’t be compensated for through experience or care, and it determines whether the product is still hygienic after five years. Mythical Mates states one material for Another World Dildo, and they mention it in three places: the word SILICONE appears in the box at the top of the packaging front, the point BODY SAFE SILICONE appears in the feature list on the back, and the same point is repeated in the manufacturer’s own feature image.

Why non-porous material matters

Silicone is a non-porous material. A non-porous surface can be cleaned, because there are no microscopic cavities where residue can remain. That is the single most important property of a material meant to lie against mucous membrane, and that’s why the material declaration weighs more than almost all other lines in a specification.

Another advantage specifically for this type of product is that the casting is one piece. There is no seam between a handle made of one material and a base made of another, no glue joint, and no opening for a button or a charging contact. Seams and openings are precisely the places where dirt collects on products that are assembled from multiple parts, and they are completely missing here. A solid silicone casting without electronics is therefore the easiest design to keep clean—and that is also the reason this product category can manage with so few care instructions.

The price you pay for silicone is that the material can’t handle everything. A silicone-based lubricant attacks the silicone surface over time and makes it sticky and, eventually, porous. This applies to all silicone products regardless of manufacturer, and that’s why the manufacturer’s own instructions expressly state water-based lubricant in step one. Silicone also attracts lint and dust, which in practice means the product should be stored in a bag or in its packaging and not loose in a drawer.

Phthalates, TPE, and why the word silicone goes a long way

Phthalates are a group of plasticizers used to make plastic—above all pliable PVC—flexible. Kemikalieinspektionen describes them as substances that can affect the hormonal system and make reproduction more difficult, and several of them are therefore restricted or banned within the EU in a large number of products. This particular product category is regularly subject to supervision because it contains soft plastic in contact with skin and mucous membranes.

Silicone doesn’t need phthalate plasticizers to become soft. The softness comes from the polymer’s own structure, not from an added plasticizing substance. That’s why the material specification “silicone” itself is better information than almost any other item in a product specification—significantly better than labels like “TPE,” “jelly rubber,” or “body-friendly material,” which say nothing at all about which plasticizers are included.

There’s still a gap worth pointing out. The manufacturer doesn’t state anywhere that the product is free from phthalates. The wording on the packaging is “body safe silicone,” not “phthalate free.” It’s the retailer Joyland that fills in that line: the store expressly states “Phthalate-free: Yes” in its specification table. So the information is a store claim, not a manufacturer declaration, and it should be read as such. The fact that silicone as a material class doesn’t need phthalates makes the claim reasonable, but it doesn’t make it a commitment from EDC.

The manufacturer also does not publish what type of silicone it involves. There is no information about platinum-cured or tin-cured silicone, no information about medical quality, and no reference to any standard or any test certificate. For comparison, XR Brands expressly states “premium silicone” and phthalate-free on the product page itself for its Creature Cocks Ravager. This is a documentation difference, not necessarily a material difference — but it is the documentation you have to go by.

Firm but flexible — what the manufacturer doesn’t quantify

FIRM & FLEXIBLE is the first point in the manufacturer’s own properties list, and it appears both on the box and in the marketing images. It is the only information available about the product’s hardness, and it is qualitative. No shore value is published by the manufacturer, which means the hardness can’t be compared with another model in a measurable way.

The retailer Joyland lists the hardness as “Medium” in its own specification table. That’s the shop’s classification on the shop’s own scale, not a measured value, and it should not be confused with a shore rating. None of the other five stores states any hardness at all.

What “firm but flexible” usually means in this product category is that the shaft has enough stiffness not to fold during insertion but can be bent with hand strength. What can be established from the manufacturer’s own images is that the shaft is solid along the entire length and lacks an inner core of a harder material—there is no such information and no indication of a dual-density construction, unlike products that are marketed as dual density. So assume a uniform silicone hardness from top to base.

Weight: 540 grams according to one store; nothing at all from the manufacturer

The manufacturer does not publish a weight for Another World Dildo — neither on the product page, on the packaging, nor in the properties images. Of the six Swedish stores, only one, Taboo, states a weight: 540 grams. None of the other five publish any weight at all, which means the information can neither be confirmed nor refuted.

Treat those 540 grams as a store claim without manufacturer coverage. What it refers to is also not stated—the product by itself, or the product including the box. The difference between the two can be fifty to one hundred grams for a product of this size, and that’s enough to make the figure unusable in a comparison.

The weight matters, but that’s not automatically obvious. With a dildo without a motor, weight mainly affects two things: how firmly the suction cup holds when the product is mounted on a vertical surface, and how it feels in a harness. A heavier product pulls more on the suction cup and puts more load on the harness. That’s why a published weight would have been relevant, and that’s why it’s a shortcoming that it’s missing.

Suction cup, harness, and two areas of use

The manufacturer’s own information image summarizes the use in three points under the heading Good to know: the product is suitable for vaginal or anal stimulation, the suction cup is powerful enough for handsfree use, and the product is compatible with a strap-on harness. The same image also includes a three-step instruction manual: apply water-based lube to the shaft, insert gently, and enjoy the shape and texture.

That’s all the documentation. There’s no printed manual beyond the back of the cardboard, no safety leaflet, and no Swedish text anywhere in the package. On a product without electronics, that’s less serious than it sounds—it means there are no settings to figure out—but it means that anyone who wants to know something that isn’t on the box has nowhere to go.

How well does the suction cup stick—and on which surfaces?

The suction cup is the function the manufacturer highlights most clearly. On the packaging it says STRONG SUCTION BASE and in the feature image EXTRA STRONG SUCTION CUP. According to the manufacturer’s product images, the base is a round, flat disc of purple silicone with a ring of small pointed protrusions where the shaft meets the disc. The underside is smooth, which is the prerequisite for a suction cup to work.

What makes a suction cup hold is physics, not marketing: it needs a completely smooth, tight-fitting, and non-porous surface to create negative pressure against. Tile, bathtub enamel, laminate flooring, a mirror, and a lacquered panel work. Painted plaster, wood with texture, fabric, and most wall trims do not. The manufacturer doesn’t specify which surfaces are intended, and it doesn’t state any holding force. No manufacturer in this category does, so it isn’t a deviation—but it does mean that the wording “extra strong” can’t be checked against any value.

A practical consequence of the base’s shape is worth mentioning. The protrusions around the edge sit on the top side of the disc, not on the underside, which means they don’t interfere with adhesion. It’s a design detail that often goes wrong on “fantasy” products, where the decoration on the base sometimes extends all the way to the edge and makes the suction cup ineffective. Here it doesn’t, which the manufacturer’s own images clearly show.

Does it work in a strap-on harness?

Yes, according to the manufacturer. SUITABLE FOR HARNESS is one of the four points in the feature image, and the product description from EDC explicitly mentions straps. A suction cup base of this type — a flat, round disc wider than the shaft — is also the geometry that standard O-ring straps are built for.

The manufacturer, however, does not state the base diameter, and that figure determines whether the product will fit a specific harness. An O-ring must be smaller than the base but larger than the shaft, and with a maximum shaft diameter of 5.5 centimeters, a ring of at least that size is needed. Expect that a harness with interchangeable rings is required, and that the smallest ring in a standard set will be too small. None of the six stores publish the base measurement either.

The weight belongs in the same line of reasoning. If the store information of 540 grams is correct, it’s a comparatively heavy product to carry in a harness for longer periods, and a harness with wider bands distributes that load better than one with narrow straps. Since the weight is not confirmed by the manufacturer, that part of the reasoning should be read as exactly that — reasoning, not a fact.

What lubricant should be used for Another World Dildo?

Water-based. The manufacturer’s own instructions on the information image begin with the instruction to apply water-based lubricant to the shaft, and the retailer Joyland states the same thing in its specification table under the line “Rek. glidmedel: Vattenbaserat”.

The reason is the material. Silicone-based lubricants contain silicone oils that are chemically related to the product’s own material, and over time they break down the surface so that it first becomes sticky and then porous. A porous surface can no longer be cleaned properly — it can only be replaced. This applies to all silicone products, regardless of price, and there is no amount of cleaning that can repair the damage afterward.

Oil-based products — coconut oil, massage oil, petroleum jelly — should also be avoided. They do not break down silicone in the same way, but they leave behind a film that is difficult to get rid of and that builds up over time. With an insertable length of 19.3 centimeters and a diameter of up to 5.5 centimeters, plenty of lubricant is also not optional but a requirement for the product to be usable at all, especially anally.

Cleaning and storage

Rinse the product in lukewarm water with unscented soap or a cleanser intended for intimate products, before and after each use. Since the molding is one piece and has no openings, there are no places where water can get trapped inside the product — the only part that requires attention is the deeper folds in the texture and the space between the protrusions around the base, where soap residue might otherwise remain.

Wipe it with a clean towel and let it air-dry before the product is put away. Store it so it does not lie directly against other silicone or against soft plastic; silicone against silicone can cause discoloration and become sticky over time, and silicone in contact with softened PVC can absorb plasticizers from the other product. The cardboard box works perfectly as storage — no storage pouch is included, and the manufacturer does not state that it does.

If the product is used both anally and vaginally, it applies as always: it must be cleaned in between, or a condom must be used and changed. The manufacturer covers both use cases but says nothing about switching between them, which is a striking omission in an instruction printed on the packaging.

Water resistance: one shop lists IPX5; the manufacturer states nothing.

Here is the clearest contradiction between the sources, and it’s worth clearing up properly because it comes up throughout the entire product category.

The manufacturer publishes no ingress protection rating and makes no water-resistance claim at all for Another World Dildo. The word “waterproof” does not appear on the packaging, not in the property images, and not in the product description. The shops say something else, and they do not say it consistently. Taboo gives the line “Water-resistant IPx5: Yes.” Lekosmek writes that the product is “completely waterproof.” Vuxen has a field called “Vattentätt” and answers it with “Yes.” Joyland, Blush Me, and SexleksakerOutlet do not mention the issue at all.

What IPX5 means — and why that information doesn’t belong here

The IPX system comes from the international standard IEC 60529, which defines ingress protection classes for electrical equipment. The number indicates what the enclosure protects the internal electrical system against. IPX5 means protection against water jets from all directions — that is, not submersion. IPX7, which is the class that’s usually listed for vibrators, means submersion to a depth of one meter for thirty minutes.

The point is that the rating assumes there is something to protect. Another World Dildo has no electronics—Taboo’s own specification states on the line above that the product has “no motor.” A solid silicone casting with no voids, no battery, and no circuit board cannot suffer water damage, and there is therefore nothing for an IP rating to say about. So listing IPX5 for such a product is not dangerous, but it’s meaningless — and above all, it’s a shop claim that has no counterpart with the manufacturer.

Practically speaking, the product can be rinsed under running water and used in the shower and bathtub without any electronics being put at risk. What is not, however, established is how well it tolerates heat. The manufacturer does not publish any temperature limit, no information about boiling, and no information about a dishwasher. Without such information, the product should not be boiled—a fantasy product with multiple pigments in the casting is also exactly the type of item where the colors can react to high heat.

Who manufactures Mythical Mates?

Mythical Mates is a home brand under EDC, a Dutch player that both manufactures its own labels and distributes other companies’ brands. The brand is listed on EDC’s own brand page alongside all five items in the series, and the complete product entry with the article number, EAN, and description is available in EDC’s catalog under the ONE-DC portal.

It’s worth knowing for two reasons. The first is that EDC is a wholesaler, so the catalog is aimed at stores, not consumers. Prices are not shown without logging in, and the specification table that stores see is not public. The second is that several Swedish retailers list exactly “EDC” as the brand in their product feeds instead of Mythical Mates, which means the same item appears under two different brand names depending on where you look.

Documentation: what’s missing

On the back of the packaging, the manufacturer prints the address www.mythicalmates.nl together with the article number MYMA003. When checked on July 29, 2026, that address could not be reached—the domain name was not registered in the name system. So there is no consumer page for the brand behind the address printed on the carton, and anyone who follows the link goes nowhere.

In addition, a number of details that are standard with larger manufacturers in the category are missing. Mythical Mates publishes no weight, no shore hardness, no silicone type, no base diameter, no minimum shaft diameter, no packaging dimensions, no country of manufacture, no IP rating, and no warranty period. There is no PDF manual and no EU declaration to download. The text printed on the carton is in English, Italian, Polish, and Russian—but not in Swedish.

That doesn’t make the product worse by itself. A dildo without electronics doesn’t need a datasheet to work. But that means that the person who wants to compare it with a competitor other than the three published measurements and the word silicone has nothing to compare against, and that is a real disadvantage in a category where the difference between two products in the same price range often lies precisely in the details.

Another World Dildo compared with the alternatives

Three comparisons are relevant: versus the closest sister model in the same series, versus a fantasy dildo from a manufacturer that documents more, and versus the cheapest comparable model in Swedish stores. All specifications below come from the respective manufacturer’s or store’s own information, and all prices come from the stores’ product feeds from July 29, 2026.

Versus Mythical Mates Dragonfly — same price, 2.8 cm less insertable length

Dragonfly is item MYMA002 in the same series, with EAN 8719934017597. The manufacturer’s packaging states the total length as 22.6 centimeters, the insertable length as 16.5 centimeters, and the maximum diameter as 5.8 centimeters. The material is listed the same as on Another World: silicone, firm but flexible, with a strong suction-cup base. The difference in the feature list is that Dragonfly is marketed with “veined shaft,” meaning an ådrat shaft, while Another World uses that spot for the bullet point “body safe silicone.”

The numbers are interesting precisely because the total lengths are almost identical—22.6 versus 22.4 centimeters—while the insertable length differs by 2.8 centimeters in Another Worlds’ favor. So the entire difference comes down to the base: Dragonfly has a significantly higher base that takes up more of the total length. This is exactly the situation where a comparison based on total length is misleading, and it’s a strong argument for always looking up the insertable length.

The diameter goes the other way: Dragonfly is 5.8 centimeters versus Another Worlds 5.5, meaning it’s 3 millimeters thicker at its widest point. Price-wise, they’re identical at the cheapest store—both cost 382 SEK at Joyland—but Dragonfly is more expensive at Lekosmek and Taboo, which both charge 499 SEK versus 429 for Another World.

The conclusion is straightforward: if you want the maximum insertable length for the money, Another World is the better choice of the two, with 19.3 versus 16.5 centimeters at the same lowest price. If you want a slightly thicker shaft and an ådrig surface, Dragonfly is the alternative, but you pay for it in the form of a 2.8-centimeter shorter shaft.

Versus Creature Cocks Ravager from XR Brands

Creature Cocks Ravager Rippled Tentacle Silicone Dildo is one of the best-selling tentacle models in Swedish stores and costs from 498 SEK in stock. XR Brands states the total length as 8 inches, i.e. 20.3 centimeters, the insertable length as 6.5 inches or 16.5 centimeters, the largest diameter as 1.8 inches or 4.6 centimeters, and the smallest as 1.2 inches or 3 centimeters. The material is listed as premium silicone without phthalates, with a suction-cup base, compatibility with a harness, and the recommendation to use only water-based lubricant.

The comparison is clear in terms of dimensions. Another World is 2.1 centimeters longer overall, 2.8 centimeters longer when insertable, and 0.9 centimeters thicker at the widest point—and it’s 116 SEK cheaper at the cheapest shop that has the respective product in stock. If you’re looking for size for the money, you get more from Mythical Mates.

The documentation goes the other way. XR Brands publishes both the largest and smallest diameter, which makes the shaft’s tapering possible to understand, and they explicitly state the phthalate-free nature and the material quality on the manufacturer’s own product page. At Mythical Mates, you get the word silicone and three measurements. If you want a clear tentacle shape and a manufacturer that provides more, Ravager is the way to go. If you want a bigger product for less money, it isn’t that.

Against MonsterToyz Frollo 23 cm

MonsterToyz Frollo is the cheapest comparable fantasy dildo in the same shops: from 336 SEK, i.e., 46 SEK less than Another World. Blush Me states the length as 23.00 centimeters, the maximum diameter as 5.00 centimeters, the material as high-quality silicone, and the base as a suction cup.

There’s an information gap that makes the comparison harder, and it illustrates the point from the section about the dimensions above: no insertable length is published for Frollo. The model is 0.6 centimeters longer overall than Another World, but since the base height isn’t listed, it can’t be determined whether the shaft is longer or shorter. On the other hand, it’s 0.5 centimeters narrower at the widest point, which is the only direct comparison you can make from the numbers.

For 46 SEK more, you get with Another World a published insertable length, a published max diameter, an article number that can be traced with the manufacturer, and packaging where the specification is printed. It sounds like a little, but in this category, the difference is often between knowing what you’re buying and guessing.

Price range: 382 to 429 SEK at six shops

Six Swedish shops sell the item with EAN 8719934017603. Cheapest is Joyland at 382 SEK, and most expensive are Lekosmek and Taboo at 429 SEK each. That’s a 47 SEK difference or just over 12 percent for the exact same article number and the same packaging—an impressively small spread compared with most products in this comparison, where the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive is often over 40 percent.

All six shops had the product in stock at the price check, which is unusual. That means the cheapest shop is actually the cheapest available—often the lowest price at a shop is for when it’s sold out, and then the relevant price comparison is different. Here, they coincide.

Between the extremes, Blush Me and SexleksakerOutlet are at 395 SEK and Vuxen at 419.30 SEK. The first two use identical product text and identical images, which suggests they pull the same product data from the wholesaler. Always check the final price at checkout: shipping costs are added by several of the shops below a certain order value, and in this price range all the shops are below the threshold for free shipping. A shipping charge of forty to seventy SEK can therefore completely change the ranking between the cheapest alternatives.

The same item, six different product names

A detail that makes the price comparison unnecessarily difficult deserves its own note. The same item is sold under six different names in the six shops: ”Another World Dildo Pink & Purple 22,4 cm” at Blush Me and SexleksakerOutlet, ”Mythical Mates: Another World, Fantasy Dildo” at Joyland, ”Mythical Mates - Another World Dildo Pink & Purple” at Vuxen, ”Another World Dildo 22 cm” at Taboo, and ”Fantasy Dildo Rosa & Lila med Sugkopp” at Lekosmek — where neither the brand name nor the model name remains in the title.

The consequence is that a search for the product name doesn’t find all the shops, and that the person comparing prices risks missing both the cheapest and the most expensive option. The only thing that keeps the item consistent across shop boundaries is EAN 8719934017603 and the manufacturer’s item number MYMA003. Two of the shops, Lekosmek and Taboo, publish the item number openly on the product page; the others use their own internal numbers.

The same applies to the measurements. The manufacturer lists 22.4 / 19.3 / 5.5 centimeters. Blush Me, Joyland, and SexleksakerOutlet reproduce those exact figures. Taboo and Lekosmek round to 22 / 19 / 5 centimeters, and Lekosmek also writes the word ”ca” in front of each measurement. There are no inaccuracies, but the rounding hides exactly the level of precision that makes the measurements useful — a half-centimeter in diameter is not a small thing on a product that is 5.5 centimeters thick.

Who is Another World Dildo for — and who is it not for?

It’s for you if you want a large fantasy dildo in silicone without paying a premium price, and if you already know that the 19.3 centimeter insertable length and 5.5 centimeter diameter are measurements that work for you. It’s for you if you want to be able to use the same product vaginally and anally, if you want hands-free use on the suction cup, and if you want to be able to fit it into a harness. The fact that it lacks electronics is an advantage if you want something you can rinse off without overthinking and that can’t stop working because a battery dies.

It doesn’t fit you if you’re new to the category. This isn’t a beginner size, and there’s nothing in the manufacturer’s documentation that makes it easier to assess in advance.
