It is a product without electronics. Joyland explicitly states that the product does not vibrate. That makes the evaluation easier than for a vibrator: there are no run times, charging times, or settings to compare—only dimensions, material, shape, and the base.

In Sweden, the item is sold by five stores at prices between 256 and 329 SEK. Four of them had it in stock at the price check on 12 September 2026. The cheapest among the stores that could actually deliver was Blush Me and SexleksakerOutlet, both at 279 SEK.

This review is about the black variant with EAN 759746225528. The manufacturer lists only one color for the model—black—so, unlike many other products, there is no color variant with its own item number to mix up. However, the item is sold under two different brand names in Swedish stores: Mshop writes Chisa Toys, while Blush Me, Joyland, and Vuxen write Chisa Novelties. It’s the same manufacturer.

What a monster dildo is, and where Doombringer lands

The category is alternately called monster dildo, fantasy dildo, dragondildo, and aliendildo, and the boundaries between the terms are commercial rather than technical. What they have in common is that the shaft is designed to resemble something that isn’t human: scales, bumps, ridges, tentacles, or a toothed crown, instead of the realistic anatomy that a regular dildo mimics. The manufacturer describes the product as a fantasy dildo, and the Swedish stores categorize it under headings such as dragondildo, aliendildo, and monsterdildo.

The difference from a realistic dildo isn’t just cosmetic. The structures on the shaft change how the surface feels against the mucous membrane, and an irregular shape means the perceived width varies during insertion instead of being even. Joyland describes the surface as ridged and the firmness as medium. What can be concluded about this particular model is that the manufacturer’s pictures show a heavily structured body with a tapering, rounded top, a wider midsection, and a flanged, scale-covered transition down toward the suction cup.

In terms of size, Doombringer sits in the lower half of its own category. A total length of 17.5 centimeters is less than most dragondildos sold in Sweden—Mythical Mates Another World measures 22.4 centimeters and Creature Cocks Monstropus 8.5 inches, or about 21.6 centimeters. Doombringer’s way of being big is instead in the width: a maximum diameter of 5.5 centimeters corresponds to a circumference of just over 17 centimeters, based on the manufacturer’s own diameter specification. It’s that number that determines whether the product fits you, not the length.

MU series: where Doombringer sits in Chisa’s assortment

MU is one of the brand lines that Chisa lists on its own site, and it currently includes eighteen models. The names are taken from mythology and fantasy, and the models share a design language and packaging.

The series is not uniform in material. Most of the classic MU models, Doombringer included, are listed as PVC with a suction-cup base and without electronics. But newer additions in the same lineup are something completely different: Fenrir is described by the manufacturer as liquid silicone, 24 centimeters long, 399 grams, and with eight vibration modes. It’s worth knowing if you search for the series name and assume that all models are built the same way — they aren’t, and the materials differ between them.

The packaging is the same throughout the series. The manufacturer’s own image shows a color-printed box with hanging holes, the series MU logo in gold, Chisa’s brand, and three highlighted features: easy insertion, soft touch, and suction cup. According to the manufacturer, the box measures 18 × 11.5 × 7.4 centimeters and weighs 0.412 kilos with the product. The text on the carton is in English. There is no Swedish information on the packaging, which is normal for this part of the market, but worth knowing if you’re counting on a Swedish user manual.

Body-safe PVC, not silicone

The material issue is the only property of an intimate product that can’t be compensated for with experience or care, and it’s also the point where Doombringer differs the most from the more expensive products in the same category. The manufacturer lists a single material: PVC. The Swedish stores use the wording body-safe PVC, and both the manufacturer and all five stores state that the material is phthalate-free.

PVC vs. silicone — what the difference means in practice

Silicone is a non-porous material. A non-porous surface can be cleaned, because there are no microscopic cavities where residue can be left behind, and that is the single most important property of a material that is meant to sit against mucous membrane. Softened PVC doesn’t behave the same way. Phthalate-free PVC: what the commitment says and what it doesn’t say

Phthalates are a group of plasticizers that are mainly used to make PVC flexible. Kemikalieinspektionen describes them as substances that can affect the hormone system and make reproduction more difficult, and several of them are therefore restricted or banned within the EU in a large number of products. This product category is a recurring subject of supervision precisely because it contains soft plastic against skin and mucous membranes.

That the manufacturer states phthalate-free in the product data, and that all five Swedish retailers repeat the information, is therefore a relevant commitment and not an empty marketing phrase. But it needs to be read for what it is. Phthalate-free means that phthalates are not used as plasticizers—it says nothing about which plasticizer is used instead. There are several alternatives to phthalates, and the manufacturer does not specify which group is used in the MU series. Here PVC differs from silicone in principle: silicone does not require any plasticizer additive at all, because the softness comes from the polymer’s own structure.

Chisa does not publish any material declaration other than the word PVC, and no test certificate, REACH certificate, or corresponding documents for Doombringer. What is available is a properties field in the product data. It is more than what many competitors in the same price range disclose, but less than the silicone manufacturers that state both the material type and which substance groups are excluded.

Dimensions and weight: 17.5 cm, 5.5 cm in diameter, and 269 grams

The manufacturer lists the product dimensions as 17.5 centimeters in length and 5.5 centimeters in maximum diameter, and the product weight as 0.269 kilograms. All five Swedish retailers provide the same two measurements, which is unusual—dimension details usually vary between retailers in this category. They do not do that here, and it reinforces the information.

The weight information deserves a comment, because it is often completely missing for this type of product. The manufacturer lists two weights that can be distinguished: the product weight 0.269 kilograms and the packaged weight 0.412 kilograms. The difference of 143 grams is therefore the packaging. Mshop enters 0.27 kilograms in its own product data, which matches the manufacturer’s product weight. 269 grams is a noticeable but manageable weight for a product of this size, and it also says something about the material: a hollow product with the same dimensions would have weighed significantly less.

The diameter is the figure that matters most. 5.5 centimeters as the maximum diameter corresponds to a circumference of a little over 17 centimeters based on the manufacturer’s information, and it is not a beginner size. By way of comparison, XR Brands states the widest insertable diameter for Monstropus as 3.4 inches, i.e. about 8.6 centimeters, while Mythical Mates Another World is said to have exactly the same maximum diameter as Doombringer: 5.5 centimeters. Doombringer is therefore in the middle of the category in terms of width, even though it is one of the shorter models.

The manufacturer does not publish shore hardness, the diameter of the suction cup, the width of the base, or the smallest diameter of the shaft. Joyland states the hardness as an average, but it is a store statement with no numerical value and no specified measurement method, not a shore specification from the manufacturer. This is the biggest gap in the specification, because hardness is what determines how much a dildo of this size yields during use.

Suction cup, the shape, and how the product is intended to be used

Doombringer is a fully manual product. It has no buttons, no electronics, and nothing that needs charging, and the only thing that functionally distinguishes it from a straight dildo is the base. The manufacturer lists the suction cup base as one of three highlighted features, together with easy insertion and soft touch, and all five Swedish stores describe the suction cup as strong or powerful.

How strong is the suction cup, and what does it attach to?

Here, it’s only possible to present what is actually published. The manufacturer lists suction cup base as a feature but not the diameter of the suction cup, and no manufacturer in this category states a holding force in newtons. The stores use the words strong and powerful, which is marketing language rather than a measurement. Vuxen and Blush Me phrase it as the suction cup sticking to all smooth surfaces.

What can be generally established about suction cups is how they work: the attachment is based on negative pressure between the cup and the surface, which requires a completely smooth, sealed, and clean surface. Tiled walls, glass, lacquered wood, the inside of the bathtub, and a mirror work. Surfaces that do not work are grouted tiled walls where the cup lands over a grout line, structured or matte surfaces, wood with visible grain, textiles, and unsealed stone. Lubricant on the cup or on the surface also breaks the seal—this is the most common reason a suction cup releases in the middle.

One thing the manufacturer does not say anything about at all is seal compatibility. Neither Chisa nor any of the five shops states that Doombringer is compatible with a strap-on seal. This is a difference compared to, for example, Mythical Mates Another World, where the manufacturer explicitly states that the base is seal-compatible. So don’t assume that Doombringer sits in an O-ring without first measuring the base against the ring of the seal—the suction cup diameter is not published, and there is no commitment you can rely on.

How much actually goes in? The shops say different things.

This point is the only place where the sources contradict each other, and the deviation is large enough that it must be reported instead of being glossed over. Chisa does not publish an insertion length for Doombringer. The manufacturer’s data entry contains only one length measurement: the product size is 17.5 centimeters.

The shops fill in the gap in three different ways. Joyland lists an insertion length of 14 centimeters. Mshop lists an insertion length of 17.5 centimeters—so exactly the same number as the total length, which is the classic sign that the field is automatically filled in with the total measurement in a product feed rather than being separately measured. Blush Me, SexleksakerOutlet, and Vuxen do not state any insertion length at all.

What can be said about that? That a suction-cup dildo never has an insertion length that equals the total length is a result of the design: the smooth suction-cup disc and the flanged transition above it are, by definition, not insertable because they constitute the stop. Joyland’s 14 centimeters leaves 3.5 centimeters for the base and flange, which is reasonable in relation to how the product looks in the manufacturer’s own images. Mshop’s 17.5 centimeters is not compatible with a suction-cup base. Our assessment is therefore that Joyland’s information is the useful one, but it should be read as a shop detail and not as a manufacturer specification—and the only figure ensured by the manufacturer is the total length.

Which lubricant works with a PVC dildo?

Joyland specifies water-based lubricant as a recommendation, and it’s also the only mention of lubricant that appears in any of the sources for this product. Chisa does not publish any own lubricant instructions for Doombringer.

Water-based is the right answer for several reasons. Silicone-based lubricant should not be used on silicone products because it breaks down the surface over time, and even though Doombringer isn’t silicone, silicone-based lubricant is still not an obvious match for softened PVC either. Oil-based products like coconut oil leave a film that’s hard to remove from a textured surface, and a textured surface is exactly what this model has—bumps, ridges, and scales give far more places where an oil film can remain than a smooth shaft. Water-based lubricant rinses away with water and leaves nothing behind.

With this diameter, lubricant is also not optional. A maximum diameter of 5.5 centimeters requires plenty of lubricant and that you take your time, and water-based lubricants dry in faster than other types—expect to need to reapply during use. That’s the practical cost of choosing water-based as the material-safe option.

Cleaning, water resistance, and storage

Without electronics, maintenance is simple in principle, but the material and surface texture still set requirements. This is the section that determines how long the product actually lasts.

Is the Doombringer waterproof?

Four of the five shops state that the product is waterproof. Mshop writes 100 percent waterproof, and Vuxen, Blush Me, and SexleksakerOutlet describe it as waterproof and suitable for showering and bathing. The manufacturer itself makes no such commitment: the Waterproof field in Chisa’s own product data for Doombringer is blank, and no IP rating is published.

That’s a deviation worth noting, but it also needs to be put into context. An IP rating according to IEC 60529 is an enclosure rating for electrical equipment—it describes how well a housing protects the electronics inside. Doombringer has no electronics and no housing; it’s a solid PVC molded casting with no openings, battery door, or charging contact. There is therefore nothing for an IP rating to protect, and it’s reasonable for the manufacturer to leave the field blank.

In practice, that means the product can be rinsed off under running water and used in the shower and bathtub, just as the shops write, but the wording 100 percent waterproof is the shops’ own and not the manufacturer’s. The only place where the difference has real consequences is the warranty: Chisa’s warranty terms expressly exclude damage caused by water exposure, with the exception of products that are specified as waterproof—and Doombringer is not listed as waterproof by the manufacturer.

How to care for a PVC product with a textured surface

Rinse the product in lukewarm water after each use, and use an unperfumed soap or a cleaning agent intended for intimate products. The structured surface is the whole point of the model, but it’s also its weakness when it comes to cleaning: bumps, ridges, and the serrated crown create pockets where lubricant and residue get left behind. Use your hand or a soft brush and go through the structure instead of just rinsing it off.

“Lukewarm” is the operative word. Softened PVC can’t handle the same temperature as silicone, and boiling, the dishwasher, and hot water are out of the question—this is also one of the reasons a PVC product can never be sterilized in the way a silicone product can. Wipe it down with a clean towel and let the product air-dry completely before putting it away. Residual moisture in a structured surface is the most common reason a product starts to smell.

Store it separately. PVC and other soft plastics can react with each other over time, and a product in this material group shouldn’t be kept tightly against other soft plastic toys in the same drawer. No storage bag is included—the manufacturer only lists the product and a color-printed box in the packaging. Keep the box, or buy a separate bag. Avoid direct sunlight and store it cool, for the same reason as applies to all soft plastic.

A final piece of advice that belongs to the category rather than to this specific model: never share a product like this between anal and vaginal use without cleaning in between, and don’t share it between people without a condom. The manufacturer and the shops state that the model is intended for both types of use, but that assumes cleaning between them.

Three comparisons are relevant: against the closest sibling models in the manufacturer’s own series, against a silicone model in the same design lineup from a Western manufacturer, and against a silicone model with exactly the same maximum diameter. All information below comes from each respective manufacturer’s own specifications.

Against Wyrm Baiser and Octopus Bugbear—same series, different measurements

The three MU models that are closest to Doombringer in the manufacturer’s lineup clearly show where the model sits. Wyrm Baiser measures 19.5 centimeters with a maximum diameter of 4.9 centimeters and weighs 0.257 kilograms. Octopus Bugbear measures 23.5 centimeters with a diameter of 5 centimeters and weighs 0.394 kilograms. Monstrous Creature is 19 centimeters with a full 7 centimeters in width and weighs 0.546 kilograms. All are stated as PVC with a suction cup base and phthalate-free, just like Doombringer.

The pattern that emerges is that Doombringer is the series’ compact, wide model: the shortest of the four, but wider than both Wyrm Baiser and Octopus Bugbear. In practice, that means that the ratio between length and width is different. Where Octopus Bugbear offers six centimeters more length for half a centimeter less width, Doombringer provides width on shorter shafts—which is a meaningful difference if depth is rather than width the limiting factor for you.

The weights say something about the build. Monstrous Creature weighs twice as much as Doombringer at roughly the same length, which follows directly from the 7-centimeter diameter. Wyrm Baiser weighs almost exactly the same as Doombringer even though it is two centimeters longer, because it is narrower. XR Brands Creature Cocks Monstropus is the comparison that shows what a couple of hundred kronor to buy. The manufacturer states the total length as 8.5 inches, i.e., about 21.6 centimeters, and the insertable length as 7.6 inches, about 19.3 centimeters. The narrowest insertable diameter is given as 1 inch and the widest as 3.4 inches, i.e., about 8.6 centimeters. The material is listed as phthalate-free body-safe silicone, and the base is a suction cup just like on Doombringer.

Three differences matter. Material is the first and most important: silicone is non-porous and can handle higher temperatures; PVC does not. The second is that XR Brands publishes an insertable length and two diameters—one at the tip and one near the base—while Chisa only publishes one maximum measurement. That makes Monstropus significantly easier to judge before buying. The third is size: Monstropus is both longer and considerably wider at its widest point.

The conclusion is pretty straightforward. If the material is what matters to you, and you want to be able to read off how the product tapers, Monstropus is the better product and the price difference is justified. If you want the compact size and accept PVC, Doombringer does the same job in a smaller format for less money.

What, then, sets them apart? Almost five centimeters in length, the material, and the amount of published data. Another World’s manufacturer states both the inserted length and the maximum diameter directly on the packaging, as well as inse le compatibility. Chisa states none of that. If you already know that 5.5 centimeters is the right width for you, then, in practice, the choice between the two comes down to silicone with more length and more documentation, and PVC with a shorter shaft at a lower price.

One detail worth including: since both have the same maximum diameter, you can use one as a reference for the other. If Another World fits, Doombringers fit on the width—but Doombringers reach shorter, and the structured surface is spread over a shorter shaft, which means the structures sit closer together.

Price range: 256 to 329 SEK and four stores with stock

Five Swedish stores sell the item with EAN 759746225528. Cheapest is Mshop at 256 SEK, and most expensive is Vuxen at 329 SEK. That’s a difference of 73 SEK, or 29 percent, for the exact same article number and the same packaging.

The stock situation changes that picture. Mshop, which has the lowest price, did not have the item in stock at the price check, and it states that it is expected back on October 1. If you only calculate based on the four stores that actually could deliver on September 12, 2026, the range shrinks to 279–329 SEK—that is, 50 SEK or 18 percent. Cheapest available were Blush Me and SexleksakerOutlet, both at 279 SEK, followed by Joyland at 295 SEK and Vuxen at 329 SEK.

Mshop’s own comparison price of 499 SEK is worth a comment. The store presents 256 SEK as a 49 percent discount versus that price, but none of the other five feeds is anywhere near 499 SEK—the range among the other four is 279 to 329 SEK. A comparison price that sits 51 percent above what the most expensive actual store says says more about how the discount is calculated than about what the product normally costs.

The price spread doesn’t come from any store selling a different variant. Four of the five stores list the item under EAN 759746225528 or a store-specific number that includes it, and Joyland lists it under its own article number 27864, with identical measurements and materials. So this is about the stores’ own margin setting for the same item. Prices are updated when the stores’ product feeds are updated, but always check the final price at checkout—in this price range, shipping costs are a significant part of the total, and Blush Me, for example, lists 29 SEK for shipping and 69 SEK for return shipping.

Who is Chisa Toys Doombringer for—and who isn’t it for?

It’s for you if you want to try a wide, structured fantasy dildo without spending four-figure amounts. A maximum diameter of 5.5 centimeters on a shaft that’s only 17.5 centimeters long is an unusual combination — most models with that width are significantly longer — and that’s what makes Doombringer relevant if you want the width but not the depth. It’s for you if you want a suction-cup base for handsfree use against tile or a bathtub, and if you prefer a product without electronics that never needs charging and has no battery that can die.

It’s not for you if you require silicone. The material is soft-molded PVC, and there’s a real difference in both hygiene and lifespan compared with silicone models in the same lineup. It’s not for you if you need to be able to read exactly how the product narrows before purchase, because the manufacturer neither publishes the insertable length, minimum diameter, nor hardness. It’s not for you if you want to use it in a strap-on harness, since neither the manufacturer nor any store guarantees strap compatibility. Chisa processes it within five business days, and the buyer pays the shipping via a PayPal request — if it isn’t paid within 60 days, the case is closed and the product is destroyed without compensation.

Two things make the warranty less relevant than it sounds for this particular product. The first is that it is worded for mechanical faults, and Doombringer has no mechanical parts. The second is that MU does not appear among the brand lines listed on the manufacturer’s warranty page. The warranty also expressly excludes damage caused by water exposure, except for products that are stated to be waterproof—and Chisa does not list Doombringer as waterproof, even though four out of five stores do.

What always applies, however, are your statutory rights, and in this case they are significantly stronger than the manufacturer’s warranty. Be aware that, in practice, the right of withdrawal is limited for hygiene products that have been taken out of a sealed package.
